09 Sep “Sage and Edison” Wraps Principle Photography
Nut Bucket Films is pleased to announce wrapping principle photography on a new feature from writer/director/producer, Lije Sarki. The film is currently titled “Sage and Edison”. It’s a feature-length adventure movie about a two nine-year-old boys, Sage and Edison, that attempt to secretly skateboard across Los Angeles in the middle of the night with only their skateboards and a backpack stuffed with snacks and supplies. Their mission, to get to the Staples Center for a survival contest that starts the next morning at 8am without anyone knowing they were gone.
The boys are played by non-actor rippers from Southern California, Chris Romero and Myles Strampello. Lije and his team of producers attached a heck of a supporting cast including names like Jay Larson (“The Invitation”), Irma P. Hall (“Collateral“) Marnette Patterson (“Shooter”), Trevor Morgan (“Jurassic Park”) and Robert Rusler (“Weird Science”). Not to mention appearances from pro skater Joey Brezinski and amateur Berronte Ramirez.
Lije is reuniting with Left Brain from Odd Future to compose some music and score just as he did on the popular anti-bully short film, “Belong“, playing all over the Internet and earning Vimeo’s “Staff Pick”.
Ian Kieser, Pierce Cravens, Jordan Turchin, and Illya Friedman are Executive Producers.
Thanks to Panasonic for providing the new Cinema VariCam LT. Imagery at night has never been seen like this.
